Out and about

Hampton Court

Having Hampton Court on our doorstep is a priviledge, particulary as all the grounds are open free of charge in winter months and half the grounds are accessible free in Summer months so the kids can have a good romp around. The Tiltyard cafe is really child friendly with a kids corner with toys and books, and a big green area for them to run around while you are enjoying a coffee on the sun-trap terrace. The new Magic Garden provides hours of fun for the kids!

Dean City Farm

Enriching lives through rural learning in a local urban environment. Free family friendly farm with lots of activities.

Alice Holt Forest, Farnham

Former Royal forest with cafe, play trails, play areas, picnic areas and cycle routes. Go Ape also have a Tree Top

Junior course for 6-12 yr olds. 

Entry is free, but there are car parking charges from £1.50/hr


Bocketts Farm Park

Box Hill - National Trust

Fantastic walking trails and views. 


Bracknell Coral Reef

Coral Reef - Leisure pool with flumes, slides and rapids


Bracknell Look-out centre

Interactive science discovery centre with scores of hands on activities. Outdoor play area, and surrounded by beautiful woods to have adventures and build dens! 


Bushy Park

Our beautiful local Royal Park! Pheasantry with Cafe, Woodland Gardens, extensive playpark, and water gardens.


Brooklands Museum, Weybridge

Very popular British transport museum.

Vintage car rides throughout the Summer Holidays from 11-1pm & 2-4pm.


Chessington World of Adventures and Zoo

Chessington Zoo is often overshadowed by Chessington World of Adventures, but is a lovely day out, particularly with younger kids.


Claremont - National Trust

Landscaped grounds with lake, grotto, fairy tale hut, coffee shop and play park.


Chartwell - National Trust (45 mins drive)

Beautiful parkland with swings hanging out of Oak trees, a mini Canadian camp, lakes, playhouse built for Winston Churchills daughter. 30 min circular walk. 


Esher Common/Oxshot Heath

There are lots of beautiful walks around Esher Common/Oxshott Heath. Park up at one of the various carparks around Esher/Oxshott and go on an adventure.....just don't get lost!

Garsons Farm/Garden centre

Fruit picking, large gift shop, coffee shop and outdoor play area.


Guildford Spectrum

Less than half an hour away, bowling, ice skating and leisure pool with flumes, slides and splash pools.


Hounslow Urban Farm

Open 10am-5pm daily. Adult entry £6, child £4.50 or £19 for a family.


Hurst Park, Molesey

Take a walk across Hurst meadows, stop off at the playpark, walk back along the river, grab a coffee at the Coffee Bay (Cricket club)...perfect to kill an hour or so.

Jurassic Encounter Adventure Golf

15 minutes up the A3, Crazy golf fun for all! 


Kew Gardens
